WP7 will ensure that the DESTRESS consortium communicates effectively with all relevant stakeholders. Transparent and open communication is key to the dialogue between science, industry and society on how geothermal technology can be advanced to a higher technology readiness level. DESTRESS and its consortium of demonstration sites will focus on the risks and opportunities of deep geothermal energy, and will establish and document best practice for considering more important non-technical issues when planning upcoming geothermal projects. Lessons learnt from other technologies will be taken on board. WP7 will also open up DESTRESS to the wider community by offering practice-oriented education, training and knowledge exchange. In addition, it will ensure communication with the relevant professional bodies (e.g. EERA, IPGT, IEA-GIA, EGEC) and EPOS.
