Fruitful and Demanding Get-Together at the 2nd General Assembly

Travelling to the General Assembly in Klaipeda, Lithuania, was quite a challenge for many participants. But productive sessions and face-to-face encounters on the "working side" as well as good food and even sunshine on the "leisure side" made the journey more than worthwhile.

The first day was dedicated to the progress and status quo of all work packages with the aim of identifying and addressing challenging issues and risks as well as to prepare for the upcoming reporting to the European Commission. The second day started with an interactive workshop on communications. Afterwards, the members of the Executive Board came together and discussed essential issues. They also prepared for the following open discussion and voting at the General Assembly.

Later, the 2nd Site Access Programme started with a joint project workshop on the demonstration site in Klaipeda together with SURE-project. This was completed with the possibility of visiting the site on the next morning. In addition, some work packages took the opportunity to get together in smaller groups and to deepen the discussions on specific topics.
