From 3 to 6 April 2018, the DESTRESS community met for four days in Glasgow. On the programme was the 3rd general assembly with progress meeting and executive and advisory board session as well as the midterm conference. 50 project participants took part in the internal meetings and presented the status-quo, results and upcoming work for their tasks and work packages. Furthermore, the whole consortium discussed critical topics and challenges of the project and exchanged ideas for future steps to be taken.
On Thursday, 5 April, the midterm conference took place. It was open to everyone, and around 30 external persons participated. Short presentations were held from DESTRESS members covering topics such as soft stimulation, risk management, and social acceptance. The DESTRESS members and its stakeholders lead fruitful discussions and exchanged on important cross-cutting issues in the field of geothermal energy.
